Logged In for 7 Months

Today marks are 7 month anniversary of being logged in. Still hoping and praying referrals speed up next month.

Nov06LID and CHI NOV06LID Secret Buddies

We received an adorable rainbow of all colors including GREEN, which is this months theme from our November06LID Secret Buddy. Thank you secret Buddy. We loved it and Kayla will too!

From our other November Secret buddy we received "2" hair ribbons (1) one pink and (1) red. Very Unique. We absolutely loved them. They will look so pretty with Kayla's dark hair. Thank you Secret Buddy!

Day At the Zoo

Review Room thru April 2006

Congratulations to all the families with April 2006 LID's.

"The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents
registered with our office before April 30, 2006."

LID (Log In Date) families of April 2006 now move from Dept. 1 (the review room) to Dept. 2 (the Matching Room), where they now await a referral to be matched with a child. Currently the CCAA are still referring children from Nov. 7th 2005.

Oh, did I mention that I had a lady bug fly into my car today. I immediately thought of referrals and the ladybug stories we all know so well.

Oct 2006 DTC Group -Secret Buddy Theme (June - Nature's Creations)

Wow! Once again our secret buddy did fantastic this month! I want
sincerely thank you for the the dolls you sent Kayla. She will adore
both the Mulan and the adorable soft and cuddly chinese doll. Every
month I'm amazed at the different Chinese related items you find. I
loved the book "My Family is Forever" and all the Chinese Symbol
stencils (I know we will definitely be getting use out of those too).
Also the cutest little plush pink turtle teether was great. The boys
were already trying to dig into the candy canister and goodies you
sent. Thank you so much for everything!!!

Let's Swim

Referrals through Nov. 7, 2005

Well, the CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) have referred LID (Log In Dates) through November 7, 2005. The process is moving so incredibly slow! Only 6 days were referred this month. It really makes me wonder how long its going to be until things start improving. Let's hope and pray that next month is better. I really want to bring our baby girl home and soon!!!

Field Day

Craig and Zack had a great Field Day at school. It was a gorgeous beautiful hot sunny day. Zack is the one sitting with the baseball cap and the other picture is Craigy with his cousin Cody (Craig is the one with the baseball cap on backwards). At Field Day, the kids had snow cones, dunk the teachers & local police in the water dunking machine, tug a war, inflatable slides, etc. A lot of fun. We are all glad school is finally out!!!
