Logged In for 3 Months

Today's a great day. We've been logged in for 3 months and today is my mom and dad's anniversary.

What is a I171?
“Notice of Favorable Determination Concerning Application for Advance Processing of Orphanage Petition” is a one-page approval letter from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) allowing prospective adoptive parents to immigrate a child to the United States. This is last form needed to send off your dossier to China!

What Is A Dossier?
Is a collection of notarized, certified, authenicated paperwork that are sent to the officials of China in order to process the adoption for our little girl.

What Is A "DTC?"
“Dossier to Country" or "Date to China" This is the date the China Dossier is forwarded to our agencies Beijing office for translation.

What Is A "LID?"
Log In Date (LID) is the date our Dossier has been Logged in with the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA) and this is when our wait time officially begins! Our LID happens after our dossier has been translated at our agencies Beijing office.
